Servings: Makes 5 Salmon Pasties
Recipe Time: 45 mins 

Ingredients For Homemade Salmon Pasties Recipe Filled With Creme Fraiche -

800g Shortcrust Pastry
5 Salmon Steak Fillets
Salt & Pepper Seasoning
10g Chopped Dill
400g Creme Fraiche
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Tenderstem Broccoli
Egg Wash

Step 1: Rolling the Shortcrust pastry
Dust table with a little flour, and roll out 160g pastry.

Step 2: Making the pasty

Place a seasoned Salmon fillet onto the rolled pastry. 

Top with a little of the creme fraiche mixture

Brush a little egg wash onto the edges of the pastry and fold over. Press edges down lightly.

Step 3:  Egg washing the pasties

Egg wash the pasties by dipping the  pastry brush into the egg wash and brush over the pasties. 

Step 4: Baking the pasties

Place the pasties onto a ovenproof tray and bake for 30 mins on 180c Fan

Step 5 : Cooking the tenderstem broccoli

Blanch the broccoli, in salted boiling water for 3 to 4 minutes. Drain well.

Add 2 TBSP olive oil to a hot pan and saute the broccoli for a few minutes.
Season with salt and pepper. Enjoy salmon in puff pastry with creme fraiche.
